Xenoblade Chronicles 2 has already seen a number of DLC updates, but that isn't stopping developer Monolith Soft from adding even more adventures to the game. During Nintendo's E3 2018 press conference on Tuesday, the company revealed that yet another DLC pack -- Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna The Golden Country -- will be arriving to season pass subscribers later this summer.

It looks to be up to date, too, including newer Season 4 features like shopping carts. If you've been dying to play Fortnite away from home but want more than touchscreen controls, you just got your fix.

We already knew that the Switch's Pokémon: Let's Go Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let's Go Evee! would land alongside the Poké Ball Plus, but Nintendo is now trying to sweeten the deal. Each optional accessory will land with the mythical Pokémon Mew inside. Overpowered from the start? Well, that would depend on the stats, but a psychic Pokémon from the outset sounds great. The game (and peripheral) both land on November 16th. Follow all the latest news from E3 2018 here!

'Sable' is the best the apocalypse has looked all E3

Every E3, new games pop up that aspire for a unique art style to distinguish them from the sea of other titles clamoring for attention. There are a lot of pretty games this year, but nothing has looked like Sable. The indie title from Shedworks is a "coming-of-age adventure and exploration game," according to a tweet by publisher Raw Fury, but it's the distinctive thin-lineart-and-pastel colors that will stay with you from its E3 trailer. That and the cheerful, indie pop background track by the band Japanese Breakfast, who does the whole soundtrack.

A new gameplay trailer for Hitman 2 shows the crazy amount of improvisation you'll be able to do in the game's Miami level. While offering the standard gun/silencer murders, it also features our hero Agent 47 offing targets with with a pair of scissors, a large fish, a rock, wrench and a frying pan, while blowing up an (evil) car race winner right on the trophy podium.

Things are already pretty dark in the Cyanide & Happiness universe, but throw a post-rapture apocalypse into the mix and you've got straight-up carnage. That's the backdrop of Rapture Rejects, a top down isometric last-man-standing game set in the (crumbling) world of everyone's favourite bleak comic strip. It's essentially a mash-up of Battle Royale and Worms, with no boring military stuff and plenty of bizarre weapons, plus Cyanide & Happiness' imitable brand of OTT animated violence. And also Satan. You can sign up for alpha, which is happening this summer, now.

I never once understood the draw of those Amiibo collectible figurines, either in game or out and, honestly, I figured that Starlink: Battle for Atlas would be an even bulkier, nerdier version of that sort of gameplay. I'm really happy that I called that wrong, this game is great.

Last month, Sony poured cold water on the idea that its E3 press conference would be a big, blockbuster show. Instead, Sony said that we could expect more intimate, deeper-dives on games like Death Stranding, Ghosts of Tsushima, The Last of Us: Part II and Spider-Man. Sony was aiming for something close to a Revival Meeting vibe, hosting its event in a church hall with ribbons of bulbs running along the ceiling and pews for the attendees.

Sony's Playstation E3 press conference was an unusual affair, set up in a small, church or dance-hall venue with pew-like benches for participants. It turns out that the room was nearly identical to a scene from The Last of Us 2 the (very violent) game that kicked off the atmospheric press conference. From there, we got deep dives on Kojima Productions' Death Stranding, Spider-Man from Insomniac, and Sucker Punch's samurai combat game Ghost of Tsushima. Luckily, you don't have to cram yourself into the tiny venue -- you can catch it here in less than 11 minutes.

'Ghost of Tsushima' shows off gorgeous, brutal combat

We've just gotten our first look at developer Sucker Punch's Ghost of Tsushima. In the demo, we saw plenty of combat, with the player executing parries like we haven't seen since Xbox One launch title, Ryse: Son of Rome. Except, you know, without all the quick-time events. Our protagonist is just as adept at sneaking through the bushes and stealthily taking out guards with his sword, clambering around on rooftops a la the old Tenchu: Stealth Assassins games, and then sinking his blade into hapless foes below.

FromSoftware is making a PSVR game called ‘Deracine'

When you think of FromSoftware, what comes to mind? Dark, grisly worlds and tense, strategic combat I imagine. Well, the developer is working on a new PlayStation VR game which seems to have none of those things. Déraciné is about a young girl in a boarding school who manages to summon a mysterious spirit and sets out to prove its existence while bonding with her fellow students. The so-called "story adventure" will be out later this year, and follows the announcement of cyber-ninja adventure Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, which is also being made by FromSoftware.

New 'Spider-Man' trailer shows off every villain imaginable

Were you worried that Marvel's Spider-Man would have a lightweight, no-stakes story? You can rest easy. Insomniac and Sony have posted a fresh gameplay trailer for the game, and it's clear the two want a game that puts Spidey in real peril. The clip sees virtually every one of the hero's main rivals confronting him during a prison break, including Electro, Rhino and Scorpion. And by the end... well, it doesn't look good for our champion.

The first game from Kojima Studios, "Death Stranding", left audiences' mouths agape during its initial previews during last year's E3. For 2018, Sony once again wowed the audience, this time with actual gameplay footage. Not that that actually helped anybody understand what the heck is going on.

'Destiny 2: Forsaken' story trailer hints at a grim fate

Bungie was more than eager to show Destiny 2: Forsaken's gameplay changes, but what about the story? You're now getting a first glimpse at that too... and suffice it to say the story is weightier than you've seen in the add-ons. The clip shows a clearly beaten Cayde-6, everyone's favorite obnoxious Hunter Vanguard, as he's seemingly facing execution by an Awoken from The Reef (possibly the Queen's brother) and carted off to parts unknown. In other words, there are consequences in this storyline. You may have to wait until September to see more, but this is bound to whet your appetite if you're a fan of the shared-world shooter.

'Control' is the next game from 'Alan Wake' developer Remedy

Well, that was a surprise. Sandwiched in the middle of Sony's E3 press conference was Control, the next game from Alan Wake and Quantum Break developer Remedy. The short teaser showed a heroine in a trippy, labyrinth style world full of levitating humans and constantly shifting architecture. It also revealed some basic gunplay and telekinesis-style abilities. What that all means, though, in terms of the story, world and lore is a complete mystery for now. The video did confirm, however, that the game will be coming out in 2019. It's the first title that Remedy will be releasing after its exclusivity deal with Microsoft ended. That means it will almost certainly be coming to the PlayStation 4 and other systems.

Layden made no bones about it: the mode is coming to the triple A exclusive title.

First 'The Last of Us: Part II' gameplay shows off refined combat

It's been 18 months since Sony and Naughty Dog first revealed The Last of Us: Part II, but despite a few enigmatic (and disturbing) trailers, we haven't heard much about the overall plot or seen any gameplay. That's changing today, as the forthcoming game is making up a major part of Sony's E3 2018 press conference. However, before we got to the game details, composer Gustavo Santaolalla took the stage to perform a new rendition of the Last of Us theme -- in a strange, church-like area that's far different form the average E3 press conference room. Sony's Shawn Leyden explained that this year's event would take the audience on deep dives into each game, with special environments and experiences tailored to each. After Santaolalla's performance, the lights went down, and we heard more music and saw the game's first footage -- someone singing in the very same church environment the crowd was sitting in.
